Penny Pierce Rose

Penny Pierce Rose graduated from Texas Tech University with a degree in Political Science and a minor in English. After seven years of Bible Study Fellowship, she joined the leadership team of Women at Calvary in 1994. She is one of the founding board members for Southwest Women’s Festival, which has hosted tens of thousands of women and featured such notable speakers and authors as Anne Graham Lotz, Kay Arthur, Jill Briscoe, Cynthia Heald, and Joni Eareckson Tada.

Through Tyndale House Publishers, Penny co-authored the award-winning Pathway Bible Studies born through the Women at Calvary: Pathway to God’s Treasure: Ephesians (ECPA Gold Medallion Winner);  Pathway to God’s Plan: Ruth and Esther; and Pathway to Living Faith: James. She was a featured writer for the True Identity Bible and the General Editor and devotional author for The New Women’s Devotional Bible published by Zondervan publishing house. Her book, A Garden of Friends, was released by Regal Publishing.
Penny speaks at retreats and conferences, ministering to women by giving them insight into God’s Word, helping them to apply His truths to their lives, and helping them embrace the Christian life as a grand adventure.

Her husband, Kerry, serves on the pastoral staff at Calvary of Albuquerque. They have three nearly grown children, Erin, Kristian, and Ryan, who always keep life interesting. She loves to spend time with family and friends, read, travel, and take naps.
