James Lund

James Lund is an award-winning freelance writer and editor who enjoys helping authors develop their voice and message. He is the coauthor with Peb Jackson of Dangerous Faith (WaterBrook, releases January 2008) and was the writer/collaborater on recent titles such as A League of Dangerous Women (Mary Frances Bowley, Multnomah), God Out of the Box (Chuck Ripka, Charisma House), Bruchko and the Motilone Miracle (Bruce Olson, Charisma House), and Life After High School (NavPress).

Three of Jim’s projects won the ECPA Gold Medallion award while he was an editor and writer at Multnomah Publishers, where he worked with bestselling authors such as James and Shirley Dobson, Dennis and Barbara Rainey, Randy Alcorn, Shaunti Feldhahn, and Steve Farrar. Jim made extensive writing contributions to books such as the Dobsons’ Night Light and Night Light for Parents and Alcorn’s The Treasure Principle. He is a former newspaper reporter and was associate director of publications at Lewis & Clark College.

Jim lives with his wife, Angela, and children Erik, Sonja, and Peter near the Three Sisters mountains in Central Oregon, where he enjoys music, baseball, hiking, and rafting.
